HELLO, TRISHA STARKEY HERE…

…I am a floral designer, flower farmer and educator in the Lake Tahoe region of Nevada.  Our weddings are based in Lake Tahoe, Truckee and Reno. After finding a connection with the work of flower farming in 2019, I dedicated the next four growing seasons to define my niche and understand my unique high desert climate.  With years of growing and a few seasons of freelancing with other regional florists, I branched out and dove headfirst into the floral design world.

I curate floral designs that draw you in, allowing the wildness of the tendrils and vines to forage their own path, the romantic ruffles of garden roses and peonies to entice you in for that unmistakable garden scent, and the unmatched pillow-like petals of the dahlia to muster an affair of wonder.  No two creations are alike, providing a completely unique experience for weddings and events.

Being the farmer and the florist is truly a magical union. There’s nothing quite like sowing the seeds of Icelandic Poppies in February, harvesting a handful of curly stemmed beauties in May and artfully arranging them for our couples wedding in a way that best shows off their individual movement.

My work is divided between designing for weddings and events, and farming and educating others on how to grow in our high desert climate; all of which give me an incredible amount of joy.
